@op That depends on you, specifically on your definition of "good friends". Anyway no, I've had some good friends in the past, the kind of people that you can trust with your secrets, that knows you since you were kids, but due to various circumstances we now live far apart. Nowadays I mainly stay alone, but I'm fine with it.

@Grebs same. Actually, I’ve been feeling badly for a while now. I feel depressed and alone. And that doesn’t help making my day. Plus I have many family problems. What has happened to you that made your day awful?

@op I'm sorry to hear that. My grandma has cancer. She had surgery last year and she recovered from it. This week her medical tests showed that it has returned and she needs an operation again. Likely around Christmas, meaning that none of us will celebrate and during the holiday season I'll be alone. That's so tiring

@op Yeah, the main issue is that it's a recurrent type of cancer. This will be her third surgery. Meaning that sometime in the future we'll be at this point again and we won't achieve anything. But enough with my problems. Tell me about you, girl. Are you feeling lonely?

@Grebs I’m so sorry for this situation, I really am. I hope you and your family can find peace from all this pain. About me? Well, I lost my dad last year and since that I’ve never been the same. I already had nobody, but now even being with my mom has become a problem because of how depressed she is. I feel awful in my own house.
